A SpaceX Falcon 9 launched the CRS-24 mission to resupply the International Space Station. Liftoff was at 5:07 a.m. Eastern (10:07 UTC) December 21, 2021 from LC-39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

Georgia Tech’s CubeSat, GT-1, lifted off on Spaceflight’s MDS-1 mission in December, its first mission with Mitsui Deployment Service (MDS), with spacecraft deploying from the International Space Station (ISS) via Japanese Exploration Module (JEM), Kibo.
